Brussels 27.10.2023 High Representative/Vice-President Josep Borrell will visit Ghana on 28 October, providing an opportunity to strengthen the EU-Ghana partnership.

The High Representative will start his visit on Saturday morning meeting with President Nana Akufo-Addo. He will then participate in the hand-over ceremony of 105 military vehicles financed by the European Peace Facility to the Ghana Armed Forces and deliver a speech. After the ceremony, High Representative will hold a press conference, which will be available on EbS.

In the afternoon, High Representative Borrell will meet with the Minister of National Security, Albert Kan-Dapaah, and visit the Kwame Nkrumah Mausoleum.
